First impressions? Shocked.
I can’t believe that Services 2.0 rollout DOWNGRADED all of my existing services that I had been building over the last 8-10 years. As I read the notifications about Services 2.0 coming, I assumed incorrectly that this would apply only to new services builds and population centers - NOT the ones I had already built, planned and upgraded per the existing requirements.
Honestly, really frustrated and trying to decide how to move forward - if at all. I spent years playing and building only to have to go back and re-do? It’s not more entertaining if I am required to do it.
Disappointed and seriously considering walking away.

Services 2.0 Ruined the cities I've worked on for the past 8 years. I have 15 million population and all regions open. This update has ruined all my cities. I can't pay to upgrade - especially omega. It looks like this is designed to root out old players and make them quit. Not sure why, but I won't spend another cent on this game and I quit. They've created a situation where if you have an established city this upgrade makes you uproot everything, move everything and go broke trying to get your city in the green again. I'm done, I'm walking away. Lots of other games, this is deliberately making loyal players/customers quit. Guessing they only want new players and new cities? Can't see why they deliberately alienate loyal, long standing players but that's exactly what this does. Walking away and not looking back, encouraging all older players to do the same, they clearly don't want our buisness or engagement so let's walk away. It's really gotten progressively worse each update. Since the trains came in it has been down hill ever since. There's still bugs in my regions that ea never fixed, train bridges stopped working, despite a lot of customer support they won't fix it. After all these terrible upgrades it actually feels good to quit this forsaken game w developpers who actively want to alienate and push out established players. Bye SimCity, I'm confident my money will be better spent elsewhere.

Dito! This had been my go-to game for many years, but since the service update all cities are now faulty and glowing red. Even when I use the newly updated service buildings, the coverage isn’t sufficient. I would have to rebuild and restructure everything from scratch. However, since I’m not willing to spend my free time on this kind of extra work (which unfortunately also isn’t fun), I will now uninstall the game. Very disappointing that this wasn’t taken into account by the developers.

I’ve stopped.. I’ve played the game for years and my favourite part is the aesthetic. Now however ea decide now to change it all for no reason and now I have to change the design of my full city.

💯% agree. This so-called 2.0 upgrade, ...
Is an abomination

Well said! It's insane that on one day, you had coverage for all services with buildings placed appropriately, and the next day, those buildings no longer really covered the area you purchased them to cover. It seems every "upgrade" now has no other purpose than to bleed money from loyal players who have been with them since the initial rollout.
