This is not the result of cheating by me or my team — EA has confirmed so in their responses to my ticket. This was a server failure on EA’s side. I’ve spent too much time, and a fair amount of real money, playing the game the right way. I was on a team that did the same — we always report cheaters.
Yep tarring everyone with the same brush before you get your facts straight there are plenty of legitimate players with this failure.
EA has acknowledged that this is affecting many players and that it is an issue on their end. From their latest response on my ticket:
“As you've faced server issue and as a result have lost some of the city's progress. Allow me to share that, this is currently a known issue as we are receiving similar contacts from other players who are facing the same.
Good thing is, this issue has been brought into the notice of the concerned team and they are currently investigating it. “
Please don’t accuse people of cheating when you don’t have the facts. It’s infuriating and counterproductive. Thanks.
I have had a similar reply and they also confirmed they could see all my past purchases.
