Well, unfortunately I can confirm that this issue exists in the iOS 11 beta as well. I just joined the beta tonight, but the app still Loads to a black screen. Guess we’ll have to wait for an update from ea.
Wouldn't hold your breath - the best I got from support was that "perhaps" to might be fixed in the future!!

Well they better do as I have spent enough money on this game so the least that they can do is fix the f**king thing - any way they get the iOS dev packs from apple so why is it broken in the first place - surely they tested it - oh no it's ea they just want your money not really caring if it works on all platforms and devices even with the Dev packs

All on thread:
I have an iPad Air, Model Number MD790LL/A, 64 GB. I just upgraded to the new IOS 10.3.3 minutes ago. I did so before reading this thread. Was second guessing my actions after reading all posts.
After completion of the new IOS (knock on wood) I started SimCity Buildit and it is running okay. My city started right up and all looks good so far. I will continue to run for a couple of hours and let everyone know of the results.

I have iPhone6s, iPad Air (1st Gen.) and iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd Gen.).
After updated iOS10.3.3,
I can play on iPhone6s and iPad Air. But I can't play on iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd Gen.).
