I just updated my IOS to the latest - i have the new iPad Pro 12". Everytime i try to start Simcity buildit, i get a black screen. and nothing. I have tried restarting several times.
Any suggestions?
Is this all user-based support, or does EA staff look at this to provide support? I'm surprised there has been no update either to iOS or the app to resolve this. I assume it either widely affected the app, and so EA would update it; or that it was a problem with the iOS update that would have affected many apps, so Apple may have fixed it. I haven't been able to use the game since the iOS update. Bummer, but I am seeing an improvement in my personal productivity.
I emailed EA support- - their eventual response (after not actually reading my email and suggesting I try what I had already told them I'd tried (rebooting etc), was that the team were seeing what they could do to get the game to work better on those devices, and "perhaps" it might be fixed in a future update - but in the meantime, there was nothing they could do to help - not very encouraging!
