No. You definitely not alone. Was in the middle of a mayor challenge, almost winning, and instinctively agreed to the pop-up Ios update. Like never have an app suddenly bailed on me, so hard. Then bam, pitch black nothing. Except that weird sim voice that borders on mockery. Been throwing tantrums ever since. Still am. EA support not functioning didn't help either.

So... EA wants our money... but customer support is too much to ask... :/

I have had enough of EA's lack of support on this issue and if I had not been playing the game for 18months then I would bin it but I have put a lot of effort in to my city so I am taking the only option left to me until EA pull their finger out, I am rolling back my iPad to IOS 10.3.2 and hoping that I can then carry on with my city - one thing is for definite now though and that is I will no longer be spending any real cash on this game to get sim cash etc, I will just play it for what it is and if I haven't got enough in game cash then so be it - EA has not gained any kudos from me what so ever - shame on them.

I was going o post almost the same thing. Almost two years of playing, and spending a fair amount of actual cash for this? Come on EA, how about at least acknowledging the problem, and giving us some sort of eta. This is ridiculous two weeks in, and nothing.
