I agree. I don't mind getting these assignments every now and then, but there's just so many of those assignments that are related to the newly permanent stores. There are times when I remove one of these new store assignments, complete another assignment and then I'll get the same one I previously skipped immediately after.
These new assignments are seriously reducing the amount of fun I am experiencing in the game. I've decided to just skip them from now on and if that means I won't be able to collect enough points for the Mayor's Pass buildings anymore, well... Then I see no reason anymore to buy the Pass in the next seasons. I'm a pretty heavy spender, but I'm nearing the point where I'm going to close my wallet.
Cause what's the point of buying a pass if you cannot reasonably get the rewards? At least not without doing assignments all day long, each of them consisting of multiple smaller production steps and which therefore take up to a day to complete without golden coins? I've been playing for years now so I won't quit playing entirely, but I'm not going to drive myself crazy with these assignments either.
EA, please re-balance the assignments we're getting. It's perfectly understandable that you want to encourage players to use the new stores. But this is excessive. We shouldn't be getting carved wood and wool shirts every other assignment.
I recognize your concerns. After buying two premium Mayor’s passes in a row, I decided to skip this round and be degraded from Megalopolis to Metropolis league. I am only participating in the Design Contest now, so that’s one busy moment in every 4-5 days instead of being permanently busy with challenging assignments. Very relaxing :-)
