I bulldozed some residences- do you not get these back? I didn't get them back.

No you don't. You'll have to build new residences instead
- I understand building them from scratch again. I dozed like 8 (had 2 in my available to build) and still only have 2. So I cannot get back to where I was.
If you doze a factory, you have the option to build a new one to replace.
