Can I sell my gold for money???

I received this offer to sell me gold tokens this morning, just after the contest of mayors started. I was already stocked up and it got me thinking, SimCash is very expensive. Why can't I sell my gol...

    No, you cannot do this as it is prohibited by our Terms of Service agreement as follows. Thank you for your understanding.

    EA Virtual Currency has no monetary value and does not constitute currency or property of any type.  EA Virtual Currency cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for cash; it may only be redeemed for EA In-Game Content.  EA Virtual Currency is non-refundable unless expressly authorized by EA in writing or otherwise required by law.

I had someone on facebook offer to upgrade storage to maximum within a week if I paid him real cash to do it.  LOL  I passed on his offer.  

No there's nothing wrong with that at all (sarcasm), since it would require giving out my facebook password.  No, not all, nothing fishy there.  (eyeroll)
