Change of president

hello

we have a club where mayors have become friends. we are about 35-50 years old about 10-11 members

we see each other as equal. because we have jobs , families and other responsibilities we want to change president, the one that is now wants to become vice president or even simple member and exchange place with someone else... But we have not found a way to do that

Because we accept new members we want always the president to have the responsibility on some issues although most of us believe same things. Sometimes (specially now in summer time ) it is difficult to do that fast and would be so much better if we could change the president.

Is there any way to do that?

I read somewhere that president has to quit and member with most plumb points becomes new president..But if we do not want that member to be the new president then what? do we have to build new alliance ? and then if we want to change again? and what about our club wars level that we are on level 5 as a team? I guess we have to start from beginning ?

Please help us, if it is possible fix this issue , i cannot understand how you have not considered this so many years of existence.

Soon our president will go for summer holidays. Wouldn`t it be better for the team to pass the presidency and be able to have an active president?

Imagine if a good member joins our club and see that our president is missing? We believe that president is the image of the alliance , isn`t it?

    Nick,

    If all parties are in agreement, ask the current President to demote all VP’s to Sr. except for the designated candidate who will remain or be promoted to VP...the President will then leave the club and the VP will assume the role. I strongly recommend the new President promote the former VP back to their original role to maintain continuity and goodwill. The former President can then apply to the club for acceptance - there may be a brief waiting period but no more than a day. Good luck.

    If you only have one vice president in your club and the president quit, the vice president becomes the new president. The club wars level is related to the club itself. As long as the club exists (This is the case when at least one player remains in the club) the war level stays the same.

    @PinnacleValley @Superpraesi thank you very much for your fast replies.
    i was thinking that something like that should be the solution, although it is kind of troubling with no reason.I believe even 2 presidents could co-exist if relations are good between members.
    I also would love to see personal messages between members, sometimes it is needed to explain strategies or other things to new members and not all have to read those messages. Also some people have personal relations from real life and could say somethings that other members shouldnt read and this is not an option. i believe it is a huge negative to the game that we cannot have personal messages. And not only between the members of the alliance. why not with members from opponent alliance in periods of war. maybe 2 alliances come from same country (for example we are from Greece which is a small country) and we could discuss for one alliance joining the other (if both have 10-12 members it is a nice example) also we could speak with members that apply to come to alliance before they come. I have seen many members applying without knowing our demands, and many times they go inactive also straight away, i believe we could avoid loss of time and many more bad results. Another example is at wars after 4th level mostly on 5 and 6 we must have strategies on wars. There is no reason all members to read what head of alliance discusses.. And something last important, if we want to exchange facebook accounts so we can discuss all members can find out our account. when in reality we would like to give our account to only 1-2 members..
    Thank you again for your help, i believe game is very good but specially on communications it has many problems that can easily be fixed. I hope in future they will be ``extras`` on communication and be able to speak freely with the members we want to

    we found a club during war but afterward they sent one member over to us,it was great war.I accepted them and they praised us for the way we had played.after conversation they discovered that we were adult club, they were teens, we all enjoyed the conversation. After they returned to their club.

    You can communicate with other club using this method.

    @9628077 sorry for the delay but it is summer time we have holidays here and i hadnt seen your message. i agree that this is a way to communicate but because there is not personal messages this can become a problem. i mean going to a club that they dont know you and send a message to all to combine forces many people dont like it. I wouldnt really like it also i think. Because many people see it as fishing. the best would be to talk only to president or vice presidents and talk about this matter. this shows that you respect the presidents and alliance and that you didnt go there to create a problem.. many alliances have 7-8 active members or less and rest are inactive. It is not polite to go there and tell them hello guys i saw you have some inactive- some active- if you want come to us that we have 10 active members to combine forces...of course we will be much more polite but its a public message towards all alliance..this makes it hard to talk about serious issues...Also many people-(actually most) dont know how to see who is inactive..so if you tell them your alliance has 6-7 inactive (from 10-12) they dont believe you...so you have to explain to them how to find inactive players...
    this is something that can be used on wars as strategy to hit first inactive players so opponents dont get items when fix buildings...
    so you have to decide or to explain to them that they have many inactive so its better to come or say nothing at all.. because even if you tell them how to find not active members its hard to connect the alliances...
    game should really make personal messages for all those reasons...
    i mean it has option to find facebook friends that play the game but to talk to them you have to go to facebook??why??(only to invite new members no other reason to exist)...if we had personal messages we could send our fb to some teamates and add them there...
    game will have the opportunity to build better relations between members and i bet it will last much longer.
    i play another game (online strategy ) since end of 2008 and i havent stoped it only because i talk with some people from there that we have even gone out for a coffee....only 2 times in 11 years but its enough much more personal than this to keep us in game

    I believe it can become much easier to change president and it should..

    in other strategy games you change leadership for the weekend if someone will not be active etc..there is not any reason to make it hard to demote people tell president to quit and come back..and again promote the demoted ones...it is like a trick it is not the normal way to do it..

    game can become much better..hope for a better future

    I have played BuilIt for a couple of years now and spent a boatload of money on it purchasing cash and accepting building offers from time to time.  I like it that much.

    But...my suggestion is a request to a recent change in the game:

    Please STOP displaying the advertising at the bottom of the screen to purchase monthly SimCash.  The graphic appears literally every few minutes and reappears even after being dismissed and the little exclamation point waggles continuously becoming the most annoying nuisance.  That's not going to make me buy SimCash to make it go away, it's going to make me stop playing the game.

    Can you please, please, please make this advertisement go away?  Please.
