Cheats/Hackers in Contest of Mayors

I’m In the Mega league and I got 184K this week and the highest score was 224K. I got the small prize. I would Like for EA to explain how that can happen. I completed all but probably 2 of the highest assignments and all of the streaks.
@sfcanady I've been playing just over a year, and always participate in COM, often near the top of my league. Until streaks were introduced, the high scores were pretty consistent, and if I optimized my assignment selection I'd end up with consistent scores +/- 10k.
With the addition of streaks, the scoring is much harder to predict. There are weeks where I get stuck in a rut where my task list caps out at the 1000-1200 point level, over and over. 2k tasks become scarce, and 3ks are non-existent. When the throttle is turned on early in the week, I've seen my score max out in the 120's, which is pathetic. And that's applying the method of always doing highest value tasks. 150's seem to be a good week. When I first saw someone in the 200's I figured they were cheating.
But once in a rare while I've hit the jackpot, where 2k and 3k tasks were plentiful. I did 196k (on a regular week, not 2x), with 4 gold tickets unused, and at least 11k in 4 tasks still available, so 207 was reachable. I don't use any cheating tactics, so this was a legit score.
Just know that the point opportunities are more random than they used to be, and the variation in max scores week to week can be a pretty wide range (100k). That adds a much larger element of luck to your chances of finishing in the Top 6. Perhaps intentional by EA, who knows ?
