Good day,
City name is R3AL 4 R3AL and club name is S.O.R.
I have read through the massive amount of bad reviews and numerous request to remove the new 'Club Wars" addition. I'm sorry to hear that there hasn't been alot of possitive feed back.
My entire club including myself enjoy the new experience and to have a filler in between the mayors challenges is a really good idea for us daily players.
I do however agree with a few of the ideas in the posts that I found. Making the wars addition optional is definetly nessasary on a club level but also on an individual level within a club, as I'm sure EA has noticed. The war deliveries also need a tweek to ease up on the heavy item demand or adding a fair coin bonus per item to balance the heavy item demand would be helpfull for the lower level players.
Also I feel it is NOT a good plan to lock players into the club and restricting the clubs growth by not allowing other members to join and removing the abillity for Presidents and Vice presidents to invite new members is a really bad idea. I understand the reasoning behind locking a club during a war due to the city names on the battlefield and in the war page player list and the possibillity of exploits but EA needs to do the work to find another solution to keep all clubs able to grow during the lengthly battle. Our team starts the war process as soon as we are able and locking the club will discourage our team from being part of the "club wars" feature in order to gain new members and this is an unacceptable choice that club locking has created.
Our club is new but we have many long time players that belonged to a club who's president wasn't involved enough to keep up with half of the members that play daily. The daily players in the club decided to start our own club with our active team with the hope of gaining new members that were also interested in playing often, as a team and enjoy all the features currently within the game and look forward to future additions.
During our players move to the new club our team decided to start the lengthly war process not knowing that this would lock the club. We now have many previous members lost in what I call "TheSimVoid" due to a lack if player search and messaging (another topic). We have set up a third party messanging system for our current club but with many players were unable to join this third party messanger during the move process. If we had the option we would quit our current war (surrender) in order to gain the players that were unable to make the move before the war process was started.
I am aware of the big FaceBook push within the game but really? FaceBook? ☹️
I also agree that adding war assignments to the mayors challenge is too pushy without adding more assignment slots to give players the choice to battle with other clubs ot not. During our teams last mayors challenge I was stuck waiting for a war to compltete the higher point war assignment limiting my ability to compete in my league and adding to our team mayors challenge score.
I also agree with a couple of posts reguarding inventory issues with the new 'war" addition. I feel a multi-teir inventory and store are past due and the abillity to sell, buy and trade Neo gear is long past due.
EA has created a really good mobile game with top notch player experience but you need to step up and listen to what the players want. EA is one of the elder game developers but you need to move forward with creating games and game progression for the player like Bungie does. Rather than building games just for your pocket books, which has been EA's downfall for years. If you build it for the players, the players will pay for it and play it.
Also the wording involved in the mayors club possitions could be improved. Titles like Pesident and Vice president give a mindset of athority and can lead to poor additudes within the member group and hurting a team environment. But I will add more in the Mayors Club area of the feedback zone.
Please don't remove the war feature. Change the name to something less agressive and give clubs and individual members the choice to particapate or not. Also removal of the "club lock" is nessasary to keep clubs growing thoughout the entire gameplay.
All of these issues should have been easily spotted by the EA testing lab and I have no idea how they were missed.
Everyone who plays games has the choice to play a game or not and your job is to ensure that player choice is number one within the game as well and I feel that there are many aspects of the "club wars" addition that ignore this basic and nessasary feature of all modern games.
Thanks
