Today SimCity BuildIt was updated with a new feature - Club Wars.

It would sure be nice to play an opponent that fights back.
Question: What do the numbers over top of the club's shield mean?
- For our first club war, both clubs were at "0" when matched for battle. Following the war, we had 1529 and opponent had 1471.
- For the second war matchmaking, we were 1529 and opponent was 1500. It was a poor match as our opponent didn't fight back.
- Third war matchmaking: we were at 1556 and opponent was again at 1500. You can see this was the worst match yet. Opponent only took one shot at us all war.
For our upcoming next war (#4), we will be at 1585. What does this number mean? Is it used for matchmaking? If yes, then we expect to be matched against an opponent with higher than 1500. If they are over 1500, then presumably that means a) the opponent has won at least one previous match and b) in order to win that match the opponent actually had to be active and fire some shots?! Who knows, maybe they actually repaired some damaged cities during their victory as well?!
Three wars in, and matchmaking is absolutely terrible. We continue to draw opponents that only have one or two active players.
What happened during beta testing? Was matchmaking not tested?

At least someone else is getting the hang of this new addition. We have had the same problems in the battlefield, bunch of lame ducks. Nobody understands how to work as a team, distribute war items and city items within the club to obtain victory.
The team we are currently working over is trying a bit but no team effort and simmilar score board.
I believe the number above the score board is a type of level/matchmaking score but I'm not 100% yet.
Just like all other PvP game activities it will take time to work out good matchmaking and then it should be good times everytime we hit the battlefield.
I really like that someone else is here enjoying this addition, aside from the lame ducks. I really hope we see you accross the battlefield so we can put our skills to the test Watch for S.O.R and if you see us out we will make you work for a win, lol.
