Today SimCity BuildIt was updated with a new feature - Club Wars.

The logic in the creation of the war addition is work together, Talk to your team and sell/trade your war items. This has been a multiplayer game for a long time but clubs haven't used this function to it full potential and this great mutiplayer game if chess is made to be played as a team.
We have new members that have left clubs because they wanted to play in some battles and due to our great team of players we get comments like "best club ever" and "I didn't know this game could be this much fun" and "working as a team makes this game move faster than I can". Teamwork makes this game legendary and trust me, once you start exporting extra goods to GH as a group and stop importing to speed things up you will have a 100k simolion float like most of our members.
If your that upset about the functions of the "war" addition and can't bring your club together as a team. Simcity Buildit work perfect offline and you can build your city offline while the war carries on, once the war period is over, reconnect and all is well. No pop ups, no building being destroyed but no really good rewards either.

Do you know the other club members personally or do you know them only through the SC-club?

To answer your question about personal relationships no, non of us have ever had any contact before playing Simcity. But a few of the members including myself started chating in the club chat and things took off, bigtime. Currently we are working on a 100% global import free plan and the building of our Simnation where all items should be available anytime but we are just starting, some testing and time is needed.
I have also brought the idea of bringing in external players from other clubs to show them hands on how we do things during a single battle to show olayers hands on how much fun this addition can be but all our members need to approve this idea before I can post it in the fourm. Feedback so far is all in favour but I'll return with an update.
I really appreciate the positive outlook and I hope that more players and clubs can see that EA is really onto something here and it's just not catching on, yet.

First my club get position in 100 club lately.
Second, we find so many bug and cheat from enemy at this point. Energy cheat (energy always full), shield cheat (after they launch attack then otomatic shield in their town), etc.
I like to suggest that developer concern about this, because it make this club war not fun anymore.
Pardon my bad english.I will also put my suggestion to do something about shields out there. We recently lost a war 23,000-21,000 because opposing team first hacked energy (yay, and reported already), then sat under shield for the remaining 34 hours of war. PLEASE do something about shields. I like the idea that was presented about auto-repairing after a certain amount of time so it stimulates more activity in wars. Nothing is more frustrating than sitting around while the other team hides under a shield for over 90% of the war. Not a single player scored more than 2500 points in that war. Just lame.
- I just wanted to chime in and say this is my clubs experience too. War really made us work as a team - we share and trade constantly, and have made great Sim friendships online - even though we’ve never met IRL. Our huge complaint now though is about opponent clubs who get a small lead then stay bubbled like turtles the rest of the game. It wrecks the club experience completely! EA - please put a time limit on how long players can stay bubbled!!
