Hello Everyone. I wrote just few messages on this forum, but I'm reading it from more than an year.
When EA introduced wars, there has been lots of complains. Most of all are about the bubble strategy.
Here's my 2 cents: yes, find an enemy that bubbles is annoying, 'cause you can't recoverif you're behind nor make points to gain chests.
Even more annoying when it's used from almost the beginning of the war.
But the point is: good or bad, it's a legit strategy. And even if I hate finding clubs who bubbles, I think that call'em cowards is not good.
Until not cheating, everyone has the right to play as they wish, and they're just using an opportunity offered by game's dynamics.
It do exixts strategies that forces opposite clubs not stay bubbled (if they want to win or get chests), it just needs to apply these strategies, even if is not always easy.
The true problem IMHO is not a legit bubbling, but unlegit players that still have too easy life.
I'm talking about "magnet players". People who uses magnetism again and again and again on every single war.
I got a 1.5M city, lvl60, war rank 19. I play wars every 3 days since EA introduced its (ok, at the beginning cooldown was a little longer, but let's go on).
I never used a single kind of attack for more than 10 times in a war, simply because it was difficult to get the needed items.
It's truly possible to obtain an higher number, sure, having megalopolis with faster production, and/or by spending real cash, simcash, and/or having teammates that sell you needed items, but... Let's not blow ourselves behind lies, using a single kind of attack for more than 20 times is not possible. Or better, it could be sometimes possible, with the right astral conjunction, but it can not be the usual way. Not at all. Expecially when is not a single player in a club, but the whole club doing so.
For example, we're now in war with a Polish club. 16 players. Still 8h to the end. 294 magnetism used!!! (single players: 43,36,32,30,29,28,27,27,21,8,7,5,1,0,0,0). 588 anvils+588 hydrants+294 binoculars.
That's not fair. Not legit.Impossible!
And, as I said, that's the main problem IMHO, not bubbling.
That's not a news, but the sad thing is that EA still haven't managed a way to solve this problem.
