Connecting friends through Facebook (between iOS and Android)

I am having the same problem. I've adjusted every setting on facebook, game centre, and deleted and re-installed the app several times. When my partner is on her device, she goes to her friends list, and has the option of going to daniel, as well as an icon for her own city. on my tablet, daniel's city is there, but there is no icon for my city.
