Contest of mayors currently unavailable
Hello, I'm in the middle of COM and when I go to the tower to collect my points it says: contest currently unavailable. How do I solve this issue?

- It also happened to me for about 8 hours. In the middle of the contest when I try to claim my completed task, I get this error message and it does not allow me to cancel the task or choose another task. the msg error in spanish : "No hay ningun concurso disponible intentalo mas tarde"
-> I Try clearing the cache, restart my cell phone, close the Facebook session, open the Facebook session again.... nothing!! If you can solve this problem let me know here. If I can solve it, I'll also let you know. thanks. Glad to see I'm not alone (although too bad you have the same issue as me). No solution yet though...Called the people at EA and they said the game team was looking into it. No ETA for a solution though so looks like we'll be losing out on this COM....
I'm in the middle of amegapolis contest, managed to complate 2-3 and when tryed to get the bonus of the task I get "sorry major No contest currently available. Please check back later". Even when the bubble with completed task is visible i cannot open the contest. all other features are working. but I also can not see some of my freiend. so I think it may be related to google account. I try to disconnect and reconnect google account I re connect and I can see my google player name and get a connected notification but it is still written "login by google account" and even delayed the game data from the phon and restarted the phone bu did not get a solution. How can I get back into the contest?

Seems EA has the server trouble. lots of players has already reported the same issue, you aren’t the only one. Only thing you can do is report and wait, hope it’ll be fixed soon.

Do you have any idea when this will be fixed? It has been two days now, and it is increasingly looking like we will no longer be able to compete in this contest. This is costing us points and rewards on the mayor's pass...It is also particularly annoying for my club, considering that I usually score very high on COM. Are we going to have to wait until the next COM for this to be resolved????? I do hope it will not happen again then, because this is extremely demotivating.

@Boulibatje I know it's frustrating but I don't have any info on when this will be fixed at this point, sorry. But you can rest assured that the team are doing what they can to get this issue resolved. 🙂

Mayors, we are happy to inform you that the issue has now been fixed and you should be able to access Contest of Mayors normally.

I never had a problem to play with the contest of mayors. But I wonder if perhaps a new bug has crept in.
The randomizer for assignments is broken. The last 13 or 14 assignments have been alternating between "earn 20k simoleans" and "earn 1560 neo-simoleons".
I must admit, it's an easy way to get a lot of points, so I am not quite sure why I am actually complaining here. LOL
