Contest of Mayors: Produce and Collect OMEGA Material

So I chose the new Produce and Collect OMEGA Material assignment in the current Contest of Mayors.  It seems to be behind in recognizing materials collected by a round.  The first collection I did was for an Omega III and it showed 0/7 after that.  When I collected the next Omega I it showed 4/7.  I just collected my 7th material and it's still showing 6/7.  Next Omega item being worked on is an Omega III and there's only 5h left in the assignment so there's no way to wait another round.  Basically lost half a day on an assignment that won't complete!

    About the OMEGA canisters only the small ones actually count and you do not have a choice until the money is actually spent so I had to buy the ones out that  I needed to quickly finish the assignment. Look at  the cannister asked for. I lost one assignment but finished the next.

    i'm having the same issue. Have spent about 90 sim millions on this so extremely angry it hasn't updated.

    I believe what is being counted is each vial of blue "omega material" we collect. Omega I, I I, III vial size does not seem to matter.

    There's definitely a problem as I rushed several though today and it wouldn't even count 1. At one point I'd rushed two I's along, didn't get any points for either but went into someone elses' city, came out and looked again and it went up by 1.

    If I were you, I would use the "Contact Us" button rather than posting this in the forum...I usually get a response from EA within 24 hours if I'm reporting something as serious as this. ***Please keep in mind that I'm trying to help without knowing any of you, your level of play, or how long you've been playing. I just am trying to make myself understood, by you and/or anyone else reading this: Step 1 in the Omega process is to put sim-coins into the Omega Lab. You only get credit for producing and collecting when you pick up from the Omega Lab. You won't get credit for vials you already have stored at the Research Center, nor will you get credit when you collect Omega Items at the Research Center, only when you pick the vial up from the Omega Lab. Thanks for taking the time to read my comment/suggestion.

    Omega material is the name of the canister (does not matrer how large), not the items comming from the canister. So you need to produce ang collect the canisters!

    This one had me stuck too.  I think it is collecting from the LABs that count, not from the research center.  So when you put 7000 in and it takes between 45 min and severlasting hours to produce a canister, it is when you collect that canister regardless of size that you get credit.

    Omega lab now only gives me the small canisters (for the 6th or 7th time in a row, maybe more). That's a lot o money for just 1 omega item ...

    Would it be because there is a running CoM?

    Definitely a bug. I've tried every combination, I,II, & IIIs, sometimes it registers completion, other times not. Very frustrating
