Having played this game on and off for several years, I have always come back to it with renewed enthusiasm, particularly as it was always being refined and improved. I saw many things that were developed to make the experience more interesting and fulfilling. I could dip in and out whenever I had a free moment. It was clearly a unique game that was executed well. Then bang. A weekly cap. Really? I have read and reread the explanation above from EA and it is resplendent with vacuous and nonsensical phrases that are actually counter to the reality. Whatever EA thought would happen by introducing this cap, the result is certainly to alienate many of the regular players. I have never seen such a tidal wave of vitriol and negative feedback. It does appear that many players are leaving for other games so was that the aim? Were the experienced players suffocating the ability of new players to perform well in the contests? Since EA do not appear to have provided a reasoned explanation for this change then all we can do is speculate. For me, when a developer introduces a feature that actually stops me progressing in a game then I'll shake my head, pick up my phone and move onto something new. There is only so much time in a day and there are better things to spend it on! Certainly not this game any more. Do let me know when it changes EA!
