EA doesn't give a damn. I've reported this guy who has been doing this for weeks and he is still there. Whenever someone gets close he suddenly gains points until he is 20k ahead of the top guy. And when others don't gain points he doesn't. It is obvious cheating, but EA doesn't care despite the blatant evidence thrown at their faces.

@Flack145  I understand your point and you’re probably correct in your assessment of the player, but I wanted to clarify that someone that had a lead and was reeled in and then jumps up by 20k does not necessarily make them a cheater...it may simply be a strong player in a different time zone. If they jumped up by 20k in an hour that would be clear evidence but over a period of time, it’s not conclusive.

I only share this because there are an awful lot of folks that believe if they lost, someone must have cheated. Sadly this creates an unnecessary bottleneck. Don’t get me wrong, I reported an airtight case of blatant cheating early in the week a couple of weeks or so ago and even shared the progress (or lack there of) through the forum - I even received confirmation that something was amiss and “the team” would investigate. The results were the cheater walked away with 2k simcash regardless of what may or may not have happened after the fact (which we’ll never know...just way too convenient). So I share your frustration and have a simple message...deal with what’s happening now and I have great confidence you will address the backlog quickly.

If only he was only gaining 20k every time. There were times he is gaining 40k in a span of less than 30 minutes. And each and every time he participates in COM, he is always able to get 20k above the top guy (And no I'm not the second ranked guy). Almost all the time he has scored above 130k (that is like average of > 1.9k plumbobs per quest), and he is at lvl 24 for a while now so there are several quests he can't do in order to not gain levels. When I see the veterans play, they trade spots each COM, this guy maintains top rankings every single COM by atleast 20k leads with a very uneven pattern of gaining points.   

@Flack145  There is no question a player can not do or even receive 13 - 3k assignments in day much less 30 minutes (and sprinkle a 1k assignment in for good measure) it doesn’t happen - how is it that the players understand this, but “the team” has to investigate. It’s not rocket science, it’s a simple understanding of math and how the game works and as cautious as they may want to be, there is much greater risks by not dealing with it immediately...like the loss of paying customers.

As I shared, I didn’t question your analysis of them being a cheater...my focus was more on 20k not being unreasonable, but as you shared most eloquently the way they rocketed to that lead leaves no doubt. I appreciate you acknowledging you weren’t in second place and quite frankly it didn’t cross my mind. I wasn’t even in the top 10...until I got perturbed with the lack of any corrective action and refocused my frustration. Good luck to you - maybe in that dark smoke filled basement at one of their parents houses “the team” is making strides to correct the situation or as my IT buddy always says “they’re just playing Angry Birds” (come on guys it’s a joke).
