Converting pumpkins into creep tokens (impossible)

You can only use the converters. There are 5 converters for the tokens  and 5 converters for the essence  with different timers.  For tokens 1,2,4,13 and 24 houers, for essence 1,3,6,8 and 13 houers.

But why would they do that ? I mean what if someone (like me) was undecided... How would he/she manage to convert the pumpkins ??

It's purposefully made impossible in order to drive people to maybe spend more money. I am not even bothering with converting currency to upgrade hotspots - I even refuse to even "purchase" the hot spot buildings. I am fed up with this seasonal currency nonsense. I think all EA staff should have to use a currency converter to earn their paycheck, and with that maybe they will learn to respect players who play the game. And I think the developer studio should be shuttered like Maxis was.

But even if you spend money it is impossible to earn enough of the season currency to achieve the rewards….. I actually like the game play better with the season currency but the more they make the rewards impossible to achieve the less fun the game becomes. Add to that arguably the best two rewards (20% on Rail Tokens & 50% on Mayor’s pass) take too much time in the season to earn to be in effect long enough to make it worth it….. I suggest they should have made easier to earn the rail token reward and have both rewards remain in effect into the first week of the next season. 

I said the rewards were designed to push people to spend more money in the game, I didn't say that spending money solved anything.

In regards to seasonal currency, this is where we disagree. Seasonal currency I would not object to if it was consistent with how it was utilized from round to round. But it's not consistent, and quite frankly, I think seasonal currency is the most half baked idea since trains, and those are still pointless. I'm increasingly resenting the game. I'm fed up having to adjust gameplay every single month for some stupid currency, the game already has wayyyyy too many currencies.

Seasonal currency was fine when it was just used to redeem whatever we wanted. But I miss event tracks having things like Vu items, gold or platinum keys, etc. Now it's just rubbish currency.

Everybody has to deceide by themselve what he is doing whith his plumpkins. 

either  convert them into tokens and/or essence and buy something in the horrorShop or Ghostshop (there you can  also buy golden tickets). Look how often you have the possibilllty to use the converters within 1 day (once a day that  is not good enouf) and look how many you can convert within 1 day and than look if it makes scence for you. (For example the shortes  converter you can use after 1 hour again.)

or use  the plumpkins to buy for example the landscape/parc  Boxes or you do nothing whith them and have nothing too as they disapear after this COM week .

You have to look what you can get for the saisonal currency you have and which things  you want to have from the possibillities  you have.

I agree with you. I hate seasonal currency. It just adds an unnecessary step. I don’t bother with hot spots either. They really don’t have much of a purpose anyway. I’ve been playing since the start and I’m really starting to hate the game. It is a shadow of what it used to be. It used to be fun and now it’s just annoying 

As stated there are five converters, the 24 hour one can be used once per day the 13 hour one twice the 1,2 and 4 hour ones can be used multiple times as long of you wait the appropriate time period for the converter

However unless you buy the pumpkin booster (says seasonal currency but boosts the pumpkins from old houses) and have lots of old house that method is pretty much worthless.
