Do war cheaters ever get in trouble?

Do war cheaters ever get ejected from an active war? Or ever? For our current war, we knew the second we got matched that one of our opponent's members was a hack. This player in question has a 182K ...

    Hi @QuincyMom2, 

    We've edited your opening post to remove the mention of a players name. The attachment also showed players names so it was removed too in the clean up.

    We can't take any action against such accounts on Answers HQ, and such posts can lead to harassment as outlined in the Answers HQ Forum Rules. Naming and shaming includes sharing content like screenshots or videos with other players names, clubs or id's. 

    If you see a suspected cheater, please >> report them using the appropriate tools<<. Click that link to fill out a help ticket and include any additional information you feel is relevant for the SimCity BuildIt team.

So I searched for the potential hacker club's hashtag and it looks like the club was disbanded? The name was previously in Cyrillic and is now in English (after an American movie studio?) and there is only one member, a level 2 in war and 1 in CoM. Think this could mean EA determined they were cheaters and kicked them? Inquiring minds...

(And yes, I had the right hashtag because I took a screen grab.)

@QuincyMom2  I suspect the hackers / cheaters simply moved on to their next feeder club under different names for their cities. My best guess is nothing happened to the club itself and they left a placeholder feeder city to maintain the private club until they cycle back…3 to 5 wars later. This isn’t a random supposition, but rather what has been shared privately by a few folks that have been or may still be associated with this type of club. When I make the simple comment “it’s obvious you’re intelligent, so why cheat?…the response is “because everyone does”. Obviously that not true, simply an excuse. I think the reality is it’s the game within the game they enjoy most…and not getting caught is the reward. Hopefully you won’t encounter anymore of the clubs.
