How is it possible that my buildings now suddenly demands objects from the railway shop, allthough I never have build a station in any of my cities?
The trains should be optional.
After I tried the beta version, I sure didn't want the trains.... but here we are. And the trains are now a mandatory thing....

I dont understand, you said i tried the beta? Then you have astation, or did you remove it? Try to build 2 stations and a minimum laid track, perhaps on a quiet region? Fortunately you only need bolts and caps only when building or upgrading houses.the only way to get bolts it to make a train run the track.
After trying the beta version for 2 weeks, I got rid of all stations, rails and so on..
As the latest update has implemented trains to us all, I experience that updating buildings now demands things from the train store. A facility I don't intend to install.
Buying things from that store was takeing forever.
I think trains were an incredible waste of time from development to implementation. The stations and tracks are ugly, I mean really ugly, and the train system does nothing to help me build my city.
I completely agree. The only purpose they serve is to frustrate you. I have sent so many trains for the benifit of buy a bolt, that soon disappeared completely. These trains are going to be the reason i quit playing the game after several years.

The railway implementation is very buggy. It’s hard to connect the tracks to the existing bridges and the stations. There are little gaps that can’t be closed, and the railway won’t work, so you can’t get the special items. You also have to demolish large sections of your city to implement railways, for no advantage.
