EA does not support 3rd party downloads from the Amazon App store.

I recently updated Simcity Buildit from the Amazon app store and the game keeps crashing.  EA customer support says they do NOT support downloads from the Amazon App store.  This is BS because they take payments from the Amazon app store for in game purchases on their products.  What is up with EA?  Is this company a fraud?
