Is there any point in reporting cheats to EA?Following a war this weekend it was clear that several of the opposition were cheating using the magnetism hack and what appeared to be a continuous supply of war items (I gave up counting after ninety magnetism attacks by the same person). So I make a report, I get an instant response saying issue resolved - it wasn’t resolved so I said this and got a response with a link to “report player for harassment or cheating” That’s it - nothing has happened to the cheat. Why can’t EA use AI to instantly check if the reported player is cheating? Can’t be that hard no one who is a war level 64 is able to have a magnetism attack level 20 (unless they have more money than sense) and remove them instantly. This would be very reassuring, would encourage more players to report cheats and would deter cheating. Would love to know if EA takes this seriously and what actions they take following a report.

Yes I’ve seen that too - once had a war with an entire team with Level 20s but they are often more subtle so not obviously cheating. My point is that on receipt of report an AI algorithm could work out if any level 20 is legit (could possibly have paid?) if not removal. Include right of appeal doesn’t involve any human moderation and could be done instantly. When you report and nothing happens it’s really frustrating and you just end up getting slaughtered in an unwinable war!Do EA ever respond to these posts?

I reported already nearly 30 cheater clubs. But EA is doing nothing. Still all reported clubs are playing and cheating. The most of the cheaters have the Mag., the mellow bellow and the shieldbuster. The disaster cards they can maybe buy with a lot of real money. But not the golden keys. And for Mag. and Mellow Bellow you need together nearly 11k. No chance for a city with lvl. 18 to 30. They don't have the resources to do that. You don't need AI to see this. The only thing you need is "you want to see it". And EA doesn't want. That's the problem!

yeah meanwhile we do the same. When we spotted a cheater we don't play anymore. Should they have their fun that nobody wants to play against them anymore. We won't lose time, motivation, resources anymore on these cheaters.It will get boring for these cheaters when they realize that nobody wants to play with them. I hope everyone will act like this.

The problem is that every other war we meet cheaters. I stopped reporting them because since a year nothing happens, sometimes i track the groups i reported but they still play. Pff. Last war i scored 100k but yeh. The cheaters score 1000k so why bother. Sometimes i only play for the vu bonusses, and most of the time i only score one comic hand to have joined a war. With a mag lvl12 you cant beat the unlimited lvl20 mags

same here. I'm tracking all the reported clubs as well. And all are still playing and cheating as if nothing had happened. So reporting cheaters is good for nothing. Only wasted time. And EA is promoting these cheaters.

OMG... that's really bad... over 7 million.... and the funny thing... everyone knows that these players are cheating... only EA not.... hahaha

and guess what... EA will do nothing and this club will playing and cheating in the future again...

i only hope that everyone will publish here in the community a screenshot of all the cheaters in this wonderful game..

Could you explain this *cheat* a little?
Not enough to inform peeps how to do it but how to know if the other team is cheating?
Recently we lost a war and it was insane that they had so many boosters and scored so many points especially since they were newer players

with a city at lvl 18 to 30 you don't have the resources as warehouse, factories and so on to produce items to buy war items. You don't have the possibility to create enough golden keys. For Mag at lvl 20 you need 3694 and for Mellow Bellow 7388. It's impossible to create such an amount of golden keys at city lvl 18 to 30. And you can't buy them. Not with Simoleons and not with real money. You have to create them.

For the disaster cards it's a bit different. These you can buy with real money. But think about the amount of real money. Mag. needs 4812 disaster cards and Mellow Bellow 5155 disaster cards. Nobody will spend soo much money. And it's impossible for a city at lvl 18 to 30 to grab such an amount legally and in such a short time frame. Normally it took years, even you're at city lvl 99.

Therefore, if a city at lvl 18 to 30 has 3 or sometimes up to 8 disasters at lvl 20 is definitely cheating.

Normally they have Mag., Mellow Bellow and Shieldbuster. And endless of war items and boosters at lvl 3. And often it's a private club. So nobody can join.
