thank you for the interesting game mode of design challenge. At first, I thought that this will be quite fun.
Now after the 3rd participation, I‘m not sure if I will play this mode ever again. The reason for this are the - in my opinion - randomly awarded stars. I‘ve got 0,5 stars for a design that met all requirements, was elaborate, had quite some population, and on which I spent quite some time and Sim Cash. What really irritated me was the fact that the winner of the current round did win the last round too. This time, his design was impressive but last time it had nothing to do with the topic. So I‘m asking myself why I should spend hours on a design if I never have a chance of earning stars / blueprints whilst other players will get rewarded for „low to none“ effort designs. Like this I‘ll neither get the achievments nor the feeling of being evaluated fairly. I understand that designs are based on subjective evaluation but something appears to be very off for me. I posted a message earlier saying the voting had to be improved... and it really really does. I have screen shots of the 30 I voted on and 26 of them were less than 5k population and very little content. Only 4 had any decency to them. I Will attach a screenshot of my attempt but need to get on my main PC with photo editing tools to do that (file size too big) ... I got 0.5 stars which is an absolute insult. And I mean insult. 3 stars would have been unfair but 0.5 stars makes me want to reach for a lawyer.
like SaCr83, unless I get a fair reward for my efforts (doesn’t need to be a win but way more than the average city) I will not be playing this part of the game again.
oh, and I notice it is the same person who won again with an average design. Hacked???
Maybe I was mistaken and even got 0 stars for my design. So I really don‘t get it... Even if the text is in German I suppose that you understand what I‘m talking about
It seems like everyone only got a half star in 3rd round. And the winner is the same player as the last time (probably a developer). I know it’s just a test play, but what’s the point if the voting isn’t even working.
Im not going to participate this challenge until EA figure things out. No point to spend time and simpletons for this total joke.
All these designs recieved half stars (I attach screenshots). Mine included. It is hillarious and unfair. Designs with bare minimum requirements and no effort got 3 stars. I know it is a test but putting rewards that are impossible to reach even with lots of effort and time spent is unfair.
@PortBudapest Nice pictures. They need to bring the pink trees back as I haven’t got any! 😩
