Hi everyone,I’m having a serious problem with electricity in my city.Even though I have several power plants (wind turbines and others) and all my roads are perfectly connected, every residential zone shows the red lightning bolt, as if there was no power at all.I already tried everything:Rebuilt and replaced the roadsMoved and rebuilt my power plantsGrouped all power plants togetherUpgraded the wind turbinesClosed and reopened the gameRestarted my deviceBut nothing works, the electricity graph shows I have enough capacity, yet my citizens keep complaining about no power. This is happening to me too! I k ow how to play the game I have just deleted my 4 year old city and I’m starting again. Roads connected, capacity over demand and red for water and power so I can’t get my happiness score up! Very annoying!! Contacted EA support yesterday and no reply!

I have the same issue. I have spent all of my simoleons on upgrading and providing new power stations, still with every building complaining there is no power. All roads upgraded. I’m only level 14 and I haven’t been able to purchase the farmers market, furniture store or gardening centre because I’ve been spending all my money on stupid power plants. I also am lacking in all other services now and can’t upgrade any of my buildings because I can’t afford to purchase any more services…. I’ve spent $15 of my real money just trying to get some sim money to provide services so I can get ahead and feel like I’m worse off. The taxes and money earnt from challenges and shipments is not enough. I used to play this game when it first came out and got up to high levels, around level 50… it never used to be so hard to manage everything and I never seemed to struggle this bad. Please update this game.

same thing happened with me ....you have to renovate every single building then all icons will disappear.

Electricity bug – no power even though everything is connected

Hi everyone,

I’m having a serious problem with electricity in my city.

Even though I have several power plants (wind turbines and others) and all my roads are perfectly connected, every residential zone shows the red lightning bolt, as if there was no power at all.

I already tried everything:

Rebuilt and replaced the roads
Moved and rebuilt my power plants
Grouped all power plants together
Upgraded the wind turbines
Closed and reopened the game
Restarted my device

But nothing works, the electricity graph shows I have enough capacity, yet my citizens keep complaining about no power. It’s like the game doesn’t recognize my power plants anymore.

Is this a known bug? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hello, I was facing the same issue after I tried to change the entire layout. I noticed something some buildings required renovation so even if all the roads are connected make sure you renovate every last residential building. That should work out! ;)

I tried to look at my power supply but instantly it pixelated so could not. It says on yours that the capacity is 159, and demand 134 (+62). I have no idea what the +62 is, but it may be that your demand exceeds the capacity and therefore you need more power plants. Just a guess!

Scrutinise the roads carefully. It may be one area is not hooked up.
