Crashing and freezing
I’m using an iPad Pro, and SimCity keeps crashing every time I try to upgrade a service or road. It crashes and I have to restart the device. This is very frustrating, especially when you’ve spent money in the game. I read that it’s a problem with iOS and SimCity. Hello EA Support Team, I’m experiencing a graphics/rendering bug in SimCity BuildIt. Description: My city suddenly became completely dark. This is NOT normal night mode. There are no street lights or building lights visible at all. The entire city scene is black, while the UI works normally. The issue also happens when I visit other players’ cities, so it seems to be a global rendering/lighting problem, not city data corruption. What I’ve tried: Clear game cache Restart device Reinstalling the game Re-enter the city Visit other cities None of these fixed the issue. Device information: Device: Xiaomi Redmi 8A Pro Android version: Android 10 RAM: 2 GB GPU: Adreno 505 Game version: 1.74.2.150717 Additional notes: This looks like a lighting or shader rendering failure after a recent update. Hello, I'm playing SimCity BuildIt on iOS. I accidentally deleted the pre-built native railway bridge tracks in the Green Valley map. Now this area cannot be rebuilt manually, and the game crashes when approaching this location. I do NOT want to delete any progress of my current city save. I kindly request the technical team to restore the original state of this railway bridge via backend operations to fix this map bug. Thank you for your help!Bug
Hi, since yesterday i cant acces my capital, the other 2 regions work perfectly normal, the game is perfectly normal actually until i tap on my capital, it shows its loading and when its almost done it crashes kicking me out. Iits super frustrating i tried rebooting, reinstalling but nothing worked... Any idea what to do?Pink Pixel Bug
Hello everyone and EA Support Team, I have been experiencing an issue in the game for a long time and I know lots of people have the same issue as I saw from the forums and complaints I read from other platforms. Whenever I tap on any Services or Specializations category, the screen turns into a pink pixel grid and the game completely freezes. After that it never recovers and the only thing I can do is restart the game. Because of this issue, I have not been able to properly play the game for almost two months. I also noticed that other players are experiencing similar problems. For some people the screen becomes completely black, for others the game freezes in different ways, but the result is the same: the game becomes unplayable and does not recover. As someone who has been playing this game for a long time, I want to say that adding new themes or features does not make the game better if the core gameplay is broken. For me and many other players, the first priority should be a stable game without any bugs. This problem needs to be fixed as soon as possible before many loyal and valuable players will stop playing the game.As a long time player, seeing all my progress and effort end up like this is very disappointing. Hi everyone, I'm playing SimCity BuildIt on iPad (level 79, population ~5.9M). I have a bug on the Green Valley map: - The silver railroad bridge's track was accidentally deleted, and I can't reconnect it. - Every time I try to lay track across the bridge, the game crashes immediately. - I've tried laying small segments, but it still crashes. - In-game support is stuck loading, so I can't submit a ticket there. Has anyone else had this issue? Any workaround or fix? Thanks!
