A terrible canned response to be honest. As with SimCity 2013 EA is trying to prove to themselves or convince us why THEY are correct instead of actually fixing the game to the player/customer specifications.
All this free honest feedback from your player base and EA essentially ignores it.

If it really worked this way then I couldn't sell iron for 10 coins regardless of how much I produced. I would therefore stop flooding the market with it, taking up potentially better trade spaces.
On the other hand how much would I really pay for an expansion part. Honestly a lot more than I do.
In other words, let us set our own prices, forget traveling to neighbor cities and really have a free market were we set our our own prices without artificial caps. That alone would at least make the game more enjoyable.

I'm with the posts that are now finding that less than 10% of their attempts to buy on the Trade Market are successful. What a royal waste of my time. I'm wondering why I'm bothering anymore, which SHOULD be a concern to EA. I'm growing bored of the game. I shouldn't be prevented from expanding due to a complete lack of dozer blades. It's ridiculous. I NEVER successfully buy blades from the trade market, and they aren't doled out magically much at all. Fix these problems! At least, program more dozer blades into the game. Then, fix the trade market. The new 'fixes' haven't fixed anything. So, now I know the 'llama accountants screwed up'. No, I think EA did. I haven't built a new house in weeks.
Oh, and there's got to be a way for us to earn cash! It's a joke. I won't have the cash to buy a cool park item unless I shell out $20 of actual human cash to EA!
Because I couldn't wait to get 21 locks and 19 storage bars to completely max out my storage I went to the global trade market to purchase what I need. It took me about 20 minutes to get everything so I don't believe the market is as broken as people think it is
