Is there a Limit to the items that can be stored ?

Yes there is a limit to how high you can upgrade your storage. The maximum your storage can be is 865 but that includes temporary storage. You can upgrade your city storage to 700 using the items, then every regional storage you purchase is an additional 20 and since there are 5 regions that can get it to 800. From there you can increase to 865 using the temporary storage but that will disappear when the season you achieved it in ends.
700 - City Storage Items
100 - Regional Storage
Temporary
5 - Vu Pass Premium 1
5 - Vu Pass Premium 2
10 - Vu Pass Premium 3
35 - Premium Mayor’s Pass
10 - Free Mayor’s Pass

A better question might be: WHY is there a storage limit? Especially with 5 regions and wars and seasonal factories, the limit is pretty arbitrary.
