Game says I am offline although I have internet connection

After months of enjoyable play and after the recent update, the game stays that I'm offline when after trying multiple connections and looking into other apps on my Amazon Fire, the game still states that my divide is off line and requires restarting.

It is growing extremely annoying considering the effort and money invested.

I hope this issues is resolved Very soon.
