Google Play login option not appearing

When I go to Settings in the game I do not see the option to login to Google, which means I can't sync with my saved city

    Nope. Turns out I did not have the Google games app installed. Once I did that the login appeared

Either you haven't internet connection or you are already logged in automatically.
