Gross and coercive ads

I understand that in game ads drive profits. Players are driven to view ads and access services and download other games. These third parties pay you to access the players. I understand all of the economics behind it.

No one is forced on simcitybuildit to watch ads. However, it seems logical that you would choose ads that players are likely to download.

Recently I have been receiving ads for games that are driving me away from accessing in game ads at all. These ads or predatory and coercive. The are meant to appeal to people who think that young women in trouble are desperate to have sex with you to get you to help them. Or they are just directly sexually objectifying of women.

These games are solely about young women and if there were similar predatory ads about young men I would just say it was equally disgusting...but it's not.

EA can do better. At least half of my club members are female. If you think you aren't alienating half of your players simply because they haven't accessed the convoluted and ineffectual reporting system you are wrong.

You are ethically and morally wrong for buying ads that promote these ideas to men and women all over the world. EA and simcitybuildit can and should do better.
