Hidden from view
So I've been at lvl 99 for a while so I thought I'd abandon my current account and start a new one. I'd much rather just erase my current city but for some reason EA makes this impossible.
But anyway on my way out I thought I'd be nice to my teammates and use my remaining sim cash to buy them storage items before I left. And I I did. But at some point my teammates stopped buying them. I asked them why and they said there was nothing in my depot. I posted a normal item and that was visible but all the storage items were hidden from their view. I popped a balloon with a storage item and posted that. That too was hidden from view. But any other item I posted was viewable. Wth?

The reason your teammates couldn’t see the storage items after a while is because the game hides special items in the depot once 20 or more are on sale. For example, if I put up 15 Vu items, they will be visible to everyone, but if I put up 20 or more then the game hides them. The game hides them because it limits the amount of special items cheaters could put on to the market.
Unfortunately, you will have to wait until Daniel buys those items. Next time you could put special items up in sets of 15, wait until they sell and repeat.
