Do they have to be in your capital?
Do they do so before they are fully developed?
Do they work in Frosty Fjords? Nothing from mine in almost 12 hrs. They are not fully developed yet.
Why is there zero information about any of the above? If there is then where is it please?

I noticed you earn the seasonal coins when you upgrade your comfy homes, but other than that, my comfy homes aren't generating any seasonal currency.
I think the developers went too far. The amount of garbage we have to produce to convert into currency. is not worth the effort.
Do the developers really think that we have fun producing rubbish? I don't care what the forum staff say, these developers clearly do not read anything here on the forum. I hold the forum staff equally responsible for all the problems.

Actually, I receive only 20 freeze coins for each cozy home upgrade. That is 4x 20 = 80 freeze coins for fully upgraded cozy home. Nothing indicates it would produce any additional coins.
I have bought the 50% boost of saisonal currency so thiis makes the different coins for the upgrade.
I really think this season, player activity will be lower than ever. I certainly don't enjoy producing anything if I don't need too, but the extra burden of producing stuff that is also needed for building upgrades, etc to convert to seasonal currency is ... not acceptable in any form. I'm only building a few Cozy homes to see if I even like them enough to add to my frosty.
I do not like seasonal coins seasons.
However, I really like cozy homes. I am going to build as many as I can in Frosty Fjords. I was pleasantly surprised that even the fully upgraded cozy homes look very nice.
alifie1 yes they do look nice but their max population is very low.
To me they are a waste of time and resources. A mountain epic looks better and gives a better population boost for much less hassle 😎
Thanks to anyone who pointed out my mistake regarding Cozy Homes and the coins they produce - I couldn't say this yesterday 'cos apparently I'd reached my daily maximum posts 😆
To clarify things: Cozy Homes do not give out coins except when you are actually building or upgrading them and even at that, it's an insignificant amount of coins.
Being forced to upgrade them in daily tasks is annoying me to say the least. My plan at the end of the season is either to demolish and replace the lot of them with residential buildings that I can then upgrade to Mountain epics, for a much better population boost. That's Plan A.
Or
Plan B: Just find another game to amuse myself during my free time and cold winter nights - yes give up over 10 years of effort or stay and suffer more. It's a tough choice, however as I have stated many times, it's a game not a second unpaid job and EA would do well to remember that.
