Hi,
Could you give me some tips on recruiting members in SimCity please?
We’d like to have our own club but we couldn’t recruit enough members to start a club war.
Thanks

Hi @ActivePartTime - I've moved your posts to the SimCity BuildIt forum. Check out these posts for recruitment:

@ActivePartTime Here’s the thread to recruit players.
It’s important to promote what you’d like to do in your club. If it’s war focused or CoM focused, how often you do war per week etc...
you can also recruit players at fan forums on other platforms like Facebook and discord. You may find much active players there. Good luck!
@ActivePartTime As the game has regressed with the unmitigated cheating and hacking issues it has become much more difficult to recruit talented players. The options given are the “ad” vehicles and are a good first step...but you already know that from your post yesterday. Obviously your question which is the title of this thread hasn’t been answered so I will offer you a little different perspective.
I suggest you (and other appropriate members of your club) travel to the global trade depot and identify level 18 & over mayors. Once identified click on their banner and review their activity in both Contest HQ and war & monsters to determine if the level of activity meets your club’s expectations and if so travel to their cities and see if there is evidence of activity...happiness level is one of the key indicators. Once you determine the mayor meets your expectations invite them to your club - sadly based on accumulated data from multiple clubs the success rate is about 3%.
The next step (if it isn’t already) is set your club status to open...but be very cautious. You should get quite a bit of activity from folks looking a war game (we see 3 to 6 every week apply and we are a non war club), new mayors looking for the mayor’s club experience, and folks looking for a change. Unfortunately, you will get mayors that come in to “farm” resources for their primary club and others that simply want to stash an illegal feeder city. It’s certainly a risk, but if you stay on top of it you should be fine...it’s certainly a quicker way to fill your need, but once you have established a solid core to support the war game set your club status to private or closed.
These are simply 2 methods you can try. If you need additional information or assistance send me a private message and I’ll try to help. Good luck.
We are a small club now, lots of people left.
Silly names ministry
Look us up and join please🙂 we are active and fun
