IAm in trouble with my sim city buildit for kindle fire

have not been able to play game due to freezing, dragging and cutting off.....this pretty much started since the last two updates....has consistently gotten worst to the point that it is impossible to play.....sometimes getting a message that states that unable to connect to amazon app store....not having problems with any other games but sims city...
