if I put something for sale can I cancel it and get it back for me?
If I offer an item for sale in the simcity buildit trade depot, can I cancel it and get it back in my own inventory if it isn't sold?

No, sorry. Once you put it up for sale it is gone. If you pay $1 (Sim) to delete it, it just goes away. The only way to get it back is to have a friend buy it and sell it back to you if you can.
The best thing to do is leave it there and let Mayor Dan buy it or keep advertising it.
Discovered this SimCity BuildiT game quite late.. Its 2018 and love it as retro PC gaming remake of sort.. Trading mech could have been a game on its own.. buy low selling high kind of thingie.. but EA really stubborn to fix some quirks.. very non logical & money trap =(
