Latest update ruined the game
I've been playing SCB for years. My Capital City has a population of over 11M. The latest update of the game is, by far, the worst one I've dealt with. The Trade Depot interface requiring you to hit the BACK icon to exit it is HORRIBLE. I am so used to just tapping anywhere on the screen to exit out. Don't get me started on the REFRESH button now being located all the way to the right side of the list is another huge annoyance. The algorithm that controls what shows up in the trade center now basically shows hamburgers, fries and mountain items. I can't tell you the last time anything of use was found.
Another gripe - not related to the latest update - is that if you decide to stop using a railroad bridge, the game now inserts a bumper to the end of the track that now sticks out from the end of the bridge and takes up a 1x2 space in the play field. That end of track bumper came flush with the end of the bridge when they added the RR bridges to the game, there's no reason why the bumper can't be flush with the end of the bridge if you decide to demolish the track and stop using the bridge for whatever reason.
I'm at the point where I am just collecting my daily monies and dispatching trains and not doing anything else in the game. I've completely stopped building anything and only visit the trade center to see if things might have improved in the algorithm.
Congrats EA - you're losing a long time player to silly updates that no one asked for.
