Lightning War Event

End of the day...that’s what it’s all about. Which is fine, as long as you provide a product that represents value to the customer.

I think EA is testing how short-time wars work, due of so many complaints about the boring bubble wars of unnecessarily long time, I'm not against everyone playing as they see fit, but, that a war ends in the first hours and then the whole journey is null, it is boring.  

so in my opinion this is perfect, and I like it a lot, It would be great that future we can choose between starting a long war or a short one, so those who only want to end the battles quickly, then use the short, and others who like the classic and fight to the end, claiming good chests with high scores, then we choose the long war 🙂

Are there any changes to levels of rewards? Looks like this is designed to reduce rewards that can be earned.

@roccodonovan8 yes but the time is shorter, get golden chests needs almost all the time of war and be continuously attacking, as the time is shorter, there is not much time to make high scores, imo they should reduce the amount of points needed to get chests during this event.

In most instances, we find that war duration has no bearing on the amount of attacks you can get in... more often than not it is limited by time under the dome by one team or the other.

Taking 12 hours off war duration will not make too much difference at the higher levels.

Of course, if you only war once a week on a weekend due to other commitments, the worst change could be the 12 hour preparation window being reduced permanently... if you like starting at 8am on a Saturday then you have to press the button in the middle of the night.
