Loading + Crashing issues since Christmas factory - Update 1.30.2

I installed the Christmas pass update on an iPhone this morning. The game does not start and crashes at startup. Does anyone have the same problem?

    Thank you for trying the restart step and letting me know how you got on. I’ve forwarded those onto the team and informed them that the issue is still affecting some of you.

    Folks, as it’s that time of the year, I’m afraid I won’t be in office over the next few days to update the thread and relay information. Saying that, please know I have called out this thread and it will be checked and looked into, my absence won’t change that.

    If you are still experiencing issues with crashing after trying the restart step, as I’ve mentioned before here, we’ll need to gather examples via support to investigate further. Please use this link to open Supports ‘contact’ page: simcity-buildit.zendesk.com  

    I understand this has been a frustrating experience so thank you once again for your patience while we’ve been looking into this. I want to wish you all Happy Holidays. 😊

  • SimCity Mayors wonder when the support staff will wake-up, return, really fix the game and compensate them for screwing them over. 

  • Queries to the help desk are only met with condescension and patronizing answers. As if I’ve not been playing for years.  As if I don’t know how my iPad works. As if I don’t have 40 GB free space on a new iPad. They are no help. They cannot fix it. They owe loyal players big time.

    My game crashed 3 weeks ago after the update (like everyone else) and i had to reinstall as possible solution. After install my city disappeared. 

    the support staff have offered ZERO help. It is the worst support i have ever encountered. All they do is copy and paste information from the FAQ.  They dont bother reading the tickets.  I think its because their support has been outsourced to India offshore and they do not care about anything or understand english.  All tickets and requests are just being ignored.  Even in this thread they are just copying and pasting the same answers. 

    i highly recommend everyone to back charge their credit cards for all the mayors passes if you lost your city or cant play the game. They are not providing the right service and a working game. Hit them in their pocket books. 

    i also recommend everyone give the app 1 star rating. Someone from EA leadership will eventually wake up.

    It really feels like they don't care that we lost good game time, that we lost the opportunity to collect Christmas items, that we were at a 

    disadvantage with the Mayor's pass, so that it wasn't worth it to buy it anymore, that we couldn't be with our clubs that were at war and couldn't 

    let them know why....

    Yes, I am back in the game because I like my club.  But no, I won't be spending a penny on that game anymore until I get compensated for

    their mistake.  

    Let's all boycott the online purchases and see if they hear our complaints better 🙂

  • @mlapomme Im totally with you. Since november it has been so many problems with the game and they dont even apologize ☹️ Last week I didnt get my league reward in COM (1000 simcash,golden cheetash and platinum keys) ☹️ Very dissapointed. But i also like my club so Im returning

    Hello to all,

    meanwhile I noticed an improvement.

    There are no more these crashes on my system.

    I did not notice a separate update of my my app (my software).

    It seems to me that somethong has been done on the server site.

    The loading time at start is longer then before.

    This is of courde no problem as there are no crashes any more.

  • Anybody still has issues with the chat window being too small when you type?

    Also, am I the only one not having a blue filter on my city anymore when I get domed during war?
