I have the same problem on phone and tablet.
I have texted Ea and it's pending.Im on an android tablet(A7)I can not access my city.I log in via Facebook.I noticed a change,after trains came out the 2nd time.When I go to play the game I noticed the page that comes up with login to Google or Facebook isn't working roght.I click Facebook always then there's a page that suppose to come up with two choices of what city you have saved...,that page doesn't even load now and I can not get to my original city at all.Im President of the club and can not play my city..,I then seen where people would do the uninstall reinstall and play the tutorial and when it gets to the save your city a page that normally pops up(doesn't now)so you can save it and should have the "original"(old)city pop up and you can return to your city ..well that doesn't happen..that whole page doesn't come up at all..
Facebook is a special task. There are 2 facebook accounts active at thesame time, the app and the browser version. To connect to facebook keep in mindthat youonly use the app, and keep the browser version logged off. You can logoff all acounts in thebrowser version.
when on a pc, also make the facebook account logged off or logon to the facebook account you want to use for your simcity city.
simcity only looks at the current logged in account, when you are logged in to 2 accounts or different accounts with fb app and browser, connection will fail.
First,thank you for you reply.I screenshot your reply.I have reread this a few times.My comprehension skills makes simple things complicated,haha So When I was on Simcity buildit, and I clicked login to Facebook and it took me to Facebook so I clicked on my name a d 5hen it took me back to Simcity BuildIt and then there were two buttons,one said play local the other was my "saved"city(now lost.So when I clicked my saved city this was more or less doing two things,logging on browser and Facebook,and when this happened..,my question now is...,did it pull up my game from application or browser.I did click log out of Facebook due to my interr constantly disconnecting and reconnecting..So could tha have made me lose my account?I have written EA several tickets and sent everything asked for,then it went into someone else's hands,I got an email saying Hello I'm "so n so-and-so I understand your disappointment
Point..,on and on and next asked me for email and all the necessary things,I even sent screenshots of my gameplay on my lost account.Anything and everything..Then checked my email and it said similar to first one with a different named person saying the same things,so I sent it all..,had 2 tickets going in EA,response was asking for same info,sent it.I had 5 tickets up,first one came back solved,resolved..and it wasnt.Im a very detailed person and I never got rude or demanding,but was passed off,now to a 3rd person.Ugh.YOu are the only one that explains this Facebook and browser thing to me.I had no idea..,I'm perplexed,but remaining as positive as I can.So my original account is still lost,and I tried earlier to see what would happen if I clicked sign in with Google(since I have play points)and it said couldn't sign in because there's already an account going(however the wording was)So still hoping I can get my account back somehow..,flustered,but hopeful. I will research this being logged into Facebook(browser and App at the same time)Thanks
