Re: Sim city build it trains not sending out

I have two train deliveries up that require the same train which can carry only 1 item at a time.  Will never be able to complete even one of them in the allotted time. Let us by pass delete or whatever so we can move on. Just like assignments we don't want to do. Or allow us to remove specific train.

    Hi,

    could you please post a screenshot of this train delivery?  I’ve completed many orders already, but I haven’t seen one with a specific train  requirement yet. I’m curious to see how it looks on your display – maybe it helps to understand if this is a bug or a mechanic I haven't come across.

    Sorry too late. But train will be at the bottom of the delivery.

    Besides figured out how to by pass it. Watch the video and it will give you a new delivery.

    Spoke too soon.  First couple were free to bypass by watching video, now the want 10 sim-bucks.....So much for playing the Train Game. I'll just go back to doing reasonable deliveries which will be mostly passengers.

    Thanks for sharing the screenshot! This task looks like a clear mathematical bug in the  mission scaling.

    The Problem:

    10 items with a low-capacity train (especially if it only has 1 slot) require many separate trips.  Even with a short cooldown, the total time needed for all these trips will likely exceed the 1h 40m limit. It seems the game’s logic only calculates the production time for the materials but completely ignores the train's cooldown and transport cycles.

    My Advice:

    Please create a new thread specifically in the 'Bug Reports' section and attach your  screenshot. In your post, make sure to mention the cooldown time and slot capacity of this specific train. This is the only way to show the developers that the math for this task is broken and impossible to complete without using SimCash.

    This is the only train that I've seen train-specific requirements for. Makes me wonder if I'm best not unlocking it if it then becomes such an issue.

    I have exactly the same problem. 
    To complete this task would require logging in every 40 minutes for over 13 hours!!

    I totally agree. Here’s another thought: Since we all have to start at Level 1 with the new Mass  Train Pass, the game probably shouldn't even be assigning specific train-bound tasks yet. I am currently at Mass Train Level 10 and haven't encountered a single task that required a specific train so far.

    It seems the trigger for these broken missions is linked specifically to unlocking that last train  type. The algorithm likely assumes that once it's unlocked, you're ready for 'expert' tasks, ignoring the fact that the train is still at Level 1.

    By the way, do you already have any of your other trains at Level 10? I’m about to reach Level 10  with one of mine soon and I want to make sure that simply having a maxed-out 'old' train doesn't trigger these impossible scaling issues as well. It would be good to know if this is strictly an 'SC Line' unlock bug,
