Hey,
anyone else getting asked for upgrade items that do not exist since the new update. I am being asked to provide bolts to upgrade a building. However that type of item is not in the railshop. Are we missing a specific commercial building? Is that one of the possible bugs that they referred to this morning?
Since installing the update, I've had exactly the same issue. Customer Services told me the nut and bolt is manufactured in a commercial building just as others are. This is patently UNTRUE.
It seems to me that this update has done little bit introduce bugs.
It is obvious EA has not heard of playtesting since they are using us for that purpose, apparently.
Yeah I think you are right. I think someone in HQ made a big booboo and this update has not been tested before release. There's other things that have suddenly messed up as well. For example I am not able to purchase the piggy banks in Export HQ. I just completed 9 rows and wanted to buy the piggy banks, but got the message "These items are no longer available". But I bet that this issue will be resolved quickly as this means reduced income to their coffers 😃
Read other posts concerning mass transit. Railways are a betatesters problem. All testers complain. Bolds and caps can only be created on the railway shop, and only if you run trains
Yeah I have seen the other posts.
However it can't really be a beta tester problem as I am not a beta tester and the mass transit was included in my latest update. 😃
Unless of course EA has decided to make me a beta tester without asking me lol

There wasn't an invitation or opt-in.. based on the EA messaging I've seen, random players got mass transit to try out. Pretty frustrating game update all in all
The refresh option works most of the time for me. There have been a few times that the bolts have appeared a second time, but when I refreshed again and watched a video they were gone. Not sure what the matrix is, but it seems to be quite random. So in brief, you are not indefinitely stuck on those tasks with not having the bolts, it just is slightly annoying having to refresh the plans.
