Well, as the experiment continues, my electric components had 1 hour and 5 minutes to go. After another hour they still have 1 hour to go! Something is drastically wrong with the timer!
One ad will only power the factory for 30 minutes. Once the 30 minutes has elapsed you need to watch another ad for a further 30 minutes of production time. Once your 4 ad limit for the day is up, you must wait until the next day to start watching ads so that your factory will continue the production.

Well, mine is different! It runs for 1 hour twice a day.
- 3 years ago@silverarticwolf That’s your solution? And explanation of how it’s supposed to work.. go ahead watch 16 ads for microchips to be made!

After another hour the electric components still have an hour to go! They just will not complete production!

Another advert, another hour, except the components did not continue production until a minute after the factory resumed, so they will still not complete within this hour!

If they are going to limit it to 4 ads a day would it kill them to power it for a reasonable amount of time. In theory it could be a helpful but who every came up the idea fell way short of the mark. Make watching an ad to produce goods worth the time! This needs to be patched quickly!

I did get 2 adverts per day for 3 slots for 1 hour each advert. This changed to 2 adverts per day for 5 slots for 15 minutes, so you cannot produce minerals that take 30 minutes on 1 day as you lose 30 seconds after it starts getting things going.
The time, slots and number of adverts a day seems to differ for mayors.
