The electric components did eventually finish. My next experiment was for 3 minerals which should take 30 minutes and therefore complete well within the 1 hour. Nope. After 1 hour they still have 20 minutes to go!
Another hour gone and still 8 minutes 42 seconds to complete 3 minerals!
