New content ideas
These are some ideas I have for new content to come to the game:
New Regions
-Jungle
-Rainforest
New Road Types
-Highway (no intersections; has exit ramps)
-Overpasses and tunnels for roads to go over/under other roads, buildings, railroads, etc
-British roads (drive on the left side)
-roads with shoulders for cars to park on
Additional Trade Methods
Build a larger port and freight rail to provide items to buy, in addition to GTHQ and Daniel’s City.
Railroads
Build passenger, commuter, and freight rail. This can work with train stations already in the game as well as adding permanent stations to buy.
More Variety of Buildings
Non-residential buildings need to be added outside of Mayor’s Pass and Design Challenge. Some examples of buildings that are needed are restaurants, gas stations, movie theaters, and shopping centers.
Better Use of Emergency Services
Currently, emergency services (fire, police, health) only send their respective vehicles throughout the city and they just park in front of residential buildings for a brief period of time. It would be good to see events such as fires and police chases. Police cars can also pull over vehicles (for things like speeding or running red lights) and we can receive the revenue from those tickets.
Access to older Contest of Mayors and Mayor’s Pass Seasons
Although these prizes are limited time, a lot of newer players want them. We do get access to some via Design Challenges but many want more and Design Challenges may be difficult to get all buildings in. There should be an option to get older buildings, and multiple times for those who want duplicates, I feel many players would even be willing to spend real money on this.
Buildings from movies/pop culture
A couple of recent buildings added have had references to movies like Ghostbusters or Back to the Future. I would love more of these - examples are buildings like Avengers Tower (from the Marvel Cinematic Universe), Pizza Planet (from Toy Story), and other buildings from popular movies (should be movies appropriate for all ages though).
Any thoughts on these? What else would you like to see.
