New war pass scam
This is a total scam. Points needed to complete it is 596.6k which is insane number on that time for most players.

@Duckups I have no idea what you are talking about. 22k points in A1 3 golden chests, 110k in a6.
And now some 500k to get 5 golden chests or 596k to complete it all. What are you getting more? I used to make at least 2 golden chests in a6 and in 5 wars it's 10 golden chests and 15 silver and bronze for 400k points which had much more value then whole this pass even if one paid for it.
I don't understand how anyone doing wars could like this. Is there something I'm missing?

It is worthwhile to note that many of the rewards that would’ve come in a gold chest are available during the course of the vu pass “season”. I’ve also received many more war cards, boosters, and other goodies than I ever would. With the old system, I always felt cheated after reaching 110k in A6, because any additional scoring would not be rewarded. Here, in this new war pass, I could conceivably reach 600k in 4 wars. My last war alone I reached over 200k.
One other thing that I haven’t seen mentioned here — fighting city monsters are now finally worth it because the points count towards the war pass progression.
ALSO, with the new system you get items right away when reaching each level milestone, but with the old system you don’t get SH!T until after the war — which brings up another sore point of the old system — you can only use the end of war to satisfy ONE war chest CoM task! So aggravating! With the new vu pass you can “wait” to collect chests depending on if/when the appropriate CoM task shows up.
As a big CoM player (level 115), this is a hugely positive thing.
@Actionj925Did you see the war chest assignment in CoM this week? I've been saving all my vu pass chest for the task but me and any of my teammates had the task this week.
- @SummitVista3310 I had noticed this too. I checked with 6 club members who confirmed that they had saved the chests earned from attacking monster (we don’t war) and not one of them has had a collect chest assignment in COM this week. As long as I can remember the collect bronze chest assignment has been a standard feature of every COM and pops up on day one without fail. Total con job or what?
@Actionj925 I agree. It was getting to the point where I wasn’t trying to get to 110k because I knew whatever I got in those nine chests would largely be garbage. I have been mostly pleasantly surprised so far with what I’m getting out of the free tiers of VuPass. While I do wish the Level 3 points were lower for those of us who only war once a week, I will be content with the freebies in that level.
I do feel the pain of those players who were camping out in A1 for cards or who war 3x a week, because I’m betting once done with the pass before the season ends, they don’t get any reward other than the team chest, and that is very unfortunate.
- I'm now done with the pass and even more sad. I got mostly umbrellas and some vamps, not a single jp. Every cash/war cash/keys etc gave me 5-8 keys which I already have thousands.
I sure haven't received as many war cards that 596k would have brought. The cards I got, only 5 mags are useful to me but close to nothing.
As an open war guy I sure hope more people will now realize open wars benefits.
Regarding to com, there seems to be no more chest tasks which benefits many and takes away the benefit that this update otherwise has brought to me.I actually had a very different experience from you. I got too many war cards (for which I really don’t need any more — I just lack the keys to full upgrade the disasters), lots of jackpots (I think I even got 4x level 2 ones for a single tier reward, multiple 3x tier 1 and 3, etc), and definitely not enough keys/simcash, etc. I do hope they make some revisions such as lower point totals, among some other changes I’d like to see — just like they did with the original mayors pass (which was 85 tiers, if you guys can recall).
The new mechanics would have been better welcomed without removing the personal reward, personally I do not consider it scam, as everyone will decide whether to put their money there or not, and they can perfectly see the items they are going to unlock. You just can see through each tier, if you pay for this and then complain that you don't like it, why did you pay if you are seeing the rewards?
I don't like the spin on the game, but I can see how certain players liked it, so I consider their opinions important. EA will probably keep it, seeing that the majority have not rejected it.

I completed all the tiers and I’m not satisfied with the reward at all. I got more cards from personal reward when I scored that much.
Seems more clubs play open war because they want to go through tiers, that’s a positive side.
I understand the tier system for the mayors pass. It’s all about how you plan to go through it in 5 weeks. But wars are PvP, you may only score 20k against hackers, you may only score 80K when the opponent wants to play “serious” war. That’s why we better get personal reward in each wars. Doesn’t make sense to set a fixed goal for 2 weeks. We can’t choose the opponent...
