Me neither. No point in clicking on them anymore, and virtually no way to acquire expansion items anymore. I'm playing on a Tab3

I am having the same problem and global trade area is not even showing any bubbles. If this keeps up, the game is not fun anymore. Waiting patiently to see some functioning bubbles, or to see bubbles period in trade center. Good luck everyone.
To test that I went to the GTC and visited the first City listed. Yes, there was a blue 'drop' bubble, which I clicked and got 5 Wood. So that's working.
However, since installing the Omega update 3 days ago I get nothing when clicking bubbles in my own City ... no Expansion, Storage or Vu items at all. Looks like the end of SimCity BuildIt unless someone at EA generates a fix.
iPad, Lvl 59, 2.2m population.
delete the app, re-install it, play the tutorial and re-login to GC and FB.
that fixed it for me.
although now i'm on an epic building challange so I don't get any gifts but I don't know if its a part of the game or not.
before I started the epic challange I got the videos back along with the random gifts in my city and others
I see your thinking, and glad it worked for you. I would like EA to fix this, though .... it's their upgrade that has screwed things, so its up to them to fix it.
After maybe 20 years of playing Sims in various formats, this happens all the time ... upgrades cause things to go wrong, and eventually wreck the product. I dread to think how much money I've spent over the years on their games that they manage to break with upgrades. I shall wait to see if they do anything, but I'm not holding my breath. This is a free game, so why should they care?

It began working properly for me yesterday, so EA must have done something. I hope it rolls out on all platforms.
I live in hope ... in very small letters 🙂
Well the simple answer for that is that there is an ingame purchasing option and trust me, they make sh*t load of $$$ from that so they have intrest in fixing any issue that comes up,
There's nothing EA likes more than tempting people to spend REAL money to facilitate their game-play :D
I'm happy to report that [overnight] something seems to have been fixed. My first 2 clicks on my City's though-bubbles this morning gave me an Expansion item and a Vu item.. And ... I've just had a Neo-Mayor pop up asking to buy some Omega products.
I hope this improvement rolls out to everyone else.
