No to shield buster
I write this as a loyal Sims buildit player. Spend countless hours and real dollars. Sims does not care about us. We give them our time and money. And they slap us in the face, while forcing us to c...
I have absolutely no sympathy for cowardly Bubble Butts. I don’t care what you say, staying in a bubble for 24 hours is not a strategy. In my club we strategize. I can’t tell you what our strategy is because it changes. Every. Single. War. We have only been screwed by a bubble team once and it has never happened since. We know, if our opponent only has 10-12 players, we need to jump on them early and prevent them from getting a lead while bubbled.
Funny thing is, we can always tell when we have encountered a bubble team because when their “strategy” doesn’t work they are completely clueless of how to actually strategize for a win. Situations where they clearly still have the advantage and they don’t know what to do. for example: there were 30 minutes left in the war we were down by 10,000 and our entire team was bubbled. The other team had 8 cities open, most of them with 1 or 2 hits left before they were bubbled. We un-bubbled our 2 strongest players, put up energy pumps and umbrellas and proceeded to JP and overkill all of their open players. The ridiculous part is that as soon as they were bubbled they started rebuilding. They had at least 5 people active and did nothing while we took the lead. There is so much they could have done to secure the win. They could have frozen us, used duds or umbrellas, or attacked and re-bubbled us. So sure they were in their “strategy” they didn’t realize we were overtaking them until it was to late. Then one of their players tried to un-bubble and get a jump on one of our expiring umbrellas, but because we ACTUALLY STRATEGIZE, we had someone watch the umbrellas and we were covered again before they could score on the JP they wasted.
My point is that bubbling is not a strategy. It’s the equivalent of throwing the first punch then running to hide behind your mom’s skirt. For my club the new shield buster will be used as a tool. That is all. We know that, unless we are dealing with hackers, or one of those ridiculous “teams” with 2 active players and 22 feeder cities (we actually encounter this one war), we always have a chance for a win because we ACTUALLY STRATEGIZE. So, Bubble Butts, LEARN TO ACTUALLY STRATEGIZE! You can still win wars without being a coward and you might find that it is a lot more fun.
You write: We have only been screwed by a bubble team once and it has never happened since.
Your team must be the number one team in the Top 25 list.
Your entire team is bubbled and you un-bubble your 2 strongest players with umbrellas and energy pumps while the other team has 8 cities open with 30 minutes left. This sounds like your team is one of the "cowardly" bubble teams.
Our team was bubbled while we were at work/school/sleeping and we were down when we were bubbled. Not sitting and watching, hoping to be bubbled while we had the lead. One of our VPs accidentally started the war a little early so we were only able to get 3 people on at the end. Un-bubbling the 2 strongest at that moment was a strategy for that war. We don’t bully our team into staying under like some you you bubble teams do. We like being attacked multiple times during a war, we encourage our players to in-bubble and go for chests.
And no, we are not one of the top 25 war clubs. Not even close. Like everyone else we have encountered hackers, cheaters and, yes, plenty of teams who have out strategized us and completely kicked our butts. That’s just how the game goes. I didn’t see you bubble players on here defending your “strategy” a month ago when others were complaining about it. I’m sorry (not sorry) you now have to use your heads to win a war. But here’s a tip, the shield buster works both ways. Figure out how to use it to your advantage and learn to have fun.
All the Best!
When the opponent team uses the shield they are cowardly Bubble Butts and it is not a "strategy". But as soon as it helps your team it becomes a legit strategy. Very nice.
You think the opponent team in your example with 8 open cities in the last 30 minutes is a typical bubble team? Is your team playing in arena 3?
And you really think you are great strategists because you are able to catch up 10k points against a team with 8 open cities. (Not) Very impressive.
For some people I am the most hated person in this forum because I have defend the hiding behind the shield strategy many, many times since I registered.
With the new Shield Buster there are no strategies left that are worth calling them a strategy.
So please tell me, for what brilliant strategies you will use your head for.
Hahahhaa. You do what you hate and say its bad. Your post is pointless, and shows that shields do work. Now you wont be able to do your strategy.
They could of should of, but were bored by your tactics, and walked away. Sounds like shields won it for you
@Duckups
Actually no. We were all shielded while we were at work/school/sleeping and we were down when we were shielded. Not sitting there watching and waiting for them to shield us and hoping we had the lead when they did. We fully expected to lose that war because the other team had the clear advantage. If they were so bored of our “tactics” they wouldn’t have attempted to JP and attack as one of our shields ran out. One of our VPs had started the war a little earlier than usual so a few up of us had to hurry home and wrap it up last minute. Otherwise we would have taken them out sooner because they were completely clueless about strategy.
Shields do work, but only on those who don’t know how to strategize or don’t know any better. But that doesn’t mean intentionally staying in a bubble for 24 hours is a good thing. Our team has never done that and will never do that. It’s cowardly and boring. We don’t play this game just to win we play to have fun as well. We actually like being attacked multiple times during a war because we can’t always dedicate hours to doing war deliveries. We encourage our players to un-bubble and go for chests, not bully them into staying under like many bubble clubs do. If one of our players wanted to un-bubble and go for more points we would have been OK with that, even if we ended up losing. Because it’s a game and games should be fun. Not the equivalent of watching paint dry. But go ahead and continue with your bubble games, see how well that works out for you.
@DuckupsNotHere2237 wasn't saying no one should win by using the shield. Should be obvious by now the problem was the ABUSE of shield to replace all other strategy in Club Wars.
You are a total douche bag, some of us have lives and don't want to sit on the map for 24-36 hours. * off.

This is exactly what a Bubble Butts do, lol, you are like putting a gun in your head. You hate your own form to play and the most funny part is that you don't even notice.
"The other team had 8 cities open, most of them with 1 or 2 hits before they were bubble" ... 8 cities? really ? and you wait until 30 minutes left to go up with umbrella? i can perfectly imagine the enemy thinking " these bubble enemies are so annoying! i'm sure they don't gonna hit anymore and stay bubble, i hate those too much" ... hahaha man... at least in my club we bubbled all the enemy with overkill with a good lead, if the enemy decide to go out, good, we bubble they again and the war get longer and that what we want, if they decide stay bubble even losing that is the most selfish enemies but yeah we have played againts a lot of that kind of guys.
if the enemy have targets but stay bubble (your case) , maybe because they won by points or are near, or just had enough of war, no matter the reason, that is the bubble enemy that some players hates here.
