Please Hide the Yellow Helmet!

As a huge SimCity BuildIt fan i'm bored of a city of flats and skyscrapers. So I begun demolishing enthousiastly my sky-highs and started building normal houses. But, guess what! Then I see that ugly yellow helmet! Who is in to ask EA to give us the possibility of hiding yellow helmets?

The variety of their villa's and houses is to much fun to upgrade!

Have you tried clicking the Blue Stop Icon that appears when you select the upgrade? I have often wondered if this would stop the upgrade process, but since that is not my goal and so much is not documented in this game I don't want to test it myself.

Each zone has a limit to how many buildings can be upgraded ... which is marked by the yellow hat.  So even if you have say 15 regular residential buildings which are not fully upgraded, the system will display at most 5 yellow hats (new zones exempted).  Pressing the blue stop sign shifts the ability to upgrade to another building of the same zone which is also ready to be upgraded but not showing a yellow hat ... there is a waiting period before you can upgrade that building just like when you select to change the materials used.  If there are no other buildings ready for upgrade, it acts like you selected to change plans on that building.

The "blue stop icon" as you call it only changes the upgrade to another building and causes a 30 min delay in the building you clicked on to be available to upgrade again.  It does not prevent it from having an upgrade (yellow hat) icon again, but you will have a blue timer icon above the building until the 30 minutes is up.

I have used it many times when there is a specific building I want to upgrade and I use the "blue stop icon" until the upgrade moves the building I want.

Same here. While it seems that most players seem to want the most populous city, there's a few of us that like to build beatiful city...

Perhaps a button to show/hide the yellow helmet?

That is the whole thing! I was wondering who is with me.

A whole lot of people would love it if for nothing else but to be able to take snapshots of their city without it being impeded by bubbles all over the place.  It wouldn't be too difficult for them to add an on/off button in the settings of the game.

Have your "neighbor" (aka friend) take the picture. I swear my city looks better when seen as a visitor. :-)
